Students in need of care should first call us at 336.758.5218 to schedule an appointment. Telehealth appointments are now available so students can meet with a licensed provider remotely. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.. When you call our receptionist, they will assist you in determining the best appointment option for your care needs. The WFU on campus Pharmacy is closed during summer sessions and will reopen in the fall. Please contact the clinic if you have prescription needs. You may also email shs@wfu.edu . Online appointments have been disabled. Please call to make an appointment. There will be no 24 hr care until further notice. Reach the nurse on call 336.758.5218 for after-hours concerns about illnesses and injuries. You can e-mail questions about prescription refills, obtaining allergy serum, appointments, or other administrative questions to shs@wfu.edu . Specialty services Please call the pharmacy at 336-758-5220 if you need refills or you have questions about picking up your medications. The bimonthly POSSE clinics (STI testing) have been cancelled until further notice. Free STI testing is available at the Health Department. Click here for more information. Our dedicated and experienced team is ready to serve all your primary care needs. All students enrolled at Wake Forest University are eligible for service. We do not participate with any insurance plans. Your Student Health fee covers your routine office visit. There may be fees associated with most tests, procedures, X Rays, labs, prescriptions and some exams. Students with Chronic Medical Problems and Disabilities: If you have an identified medical problem or other condition that may require additional resources while you are at Wake Forest or may require academic, housing, dining, or other reasonable accommodations please visit below for information about available campus and local resources. Available Resources Instructions on Printing a Receipt Check Immunization Compliance All New Incoming Students must complete the 2020-21 HIIF All incoming students must have a complete 2020 Health Information and Immunization Form on file or risk being blocked from registration and removed from class. The physical is recommended but not required. Immunization documentation and health history are required. Please email your health history and immunization form to hiif@ null wfu.edu . If there are any questions, we will contact you. You are encouraged to check your immunization status in the portal. Please go to the Immunization Compliance Page to check your compliance. Wake Forest Emergency Medical Services Wake Forest Emergency Medical Services (Wake EMS) is a volunteer, student-run EMS organization that serves Wake Forest University. Wake EMS responds to emergency calls on campus and provides basic life support.
